Welcome
Hello, and welcome to the Using Ubuntu blog. This site will cover tips, tutorials, how to’s, news and links to other sites covering Ubuntu. I’m a recent convert to using the Ubuntu operating system, and along with my friend and colleague Andrew Edney, have written the Using Ubuntu Linux book published by Babani Publishing.
The book is written to provide help and guidance to setup and start using the Ubuntu desktop operating system for people who just want use a computer for the tool it’s meant to be, and don’t want to become a GNU/Linux expert. Luckily when the subject has been inundated with awards for it’s usability, this aim has now become a reality.
